We set sail back in 1985, and in time, our production volume grew significantly as well as the number of herb varieties in our product portfolio, though we never have forgotten our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Currently we grow in several places in Spain (Almería, Granada, and Tenerife) and Morocco (Nador, Moulay and Agadir).If there is one thing of which we can boast, it is that we have been trailblazers in terms of Fresh Herb production and marketing, by offering a wide selection of products, highlighting a few: basil, chives, coriander, mint, dill, flat parsley, curly parsley, sage, rosemary, tarragon, chervil, bay leaves, oregano, marjoram, thyme… We also grow edible and decorative flowers as well as sutropical fruits and vegetables.
At Herbex we understand that service quality is a consumer right and should form part of the ethos of the people that work for our company.
Herbex integrally manages its farms within the globally recognized framework of GLOBALGAP and the quality standards of QS, TESCO NURTURE, LEAF and FIELD TO FORK. Likewise, its packaging facilities follow guidelines of the global quality references of the BRC and IFS.
Quality and safety will be guaranteed as we following through with the above mentioned pledge and fully comply with our in-house Food Safety Plans and Protocols.
Herbex is aware of our society’s concerns and emphasizes the importance of protecting the environment and putting conservation policies and strategies in place. We are conscious of the need to reconcile production and economic development with preserving our surroundings and respecting the Environment. Herbex wishes to be recognized by its clients, employees and associates as an environmentally respectful organization which is committed to protecting the environment, and to this end we abide by the LEAF quality standard.
Herbex is committed to staying abreast of, and respecting and complying with, environmental legislation, regulation and rulings in force that are applicable to our business, in addition to other requirements established by our company, which are adapted to future norms as well as client and social requirements. We are committed, to the extent possible, to manage our farms according to Integrated Pest Management guidelines. We intend to reduce pest attacks in terms of number of incidences and intensity by non-chemical measures when possible.
It is necessary to train our personnel to improve their involvement towards work obligations with environmentally friendly criteria; and to encourage our suppliers and collaborators to adopt our Environmental Policy. We will inform our employees, clients, suppliers, and general public of our Environmental Policy and abide by it and strive to keep it up to date.
Environmental conservation and respect policies will be fulfilled thanks to the collaboration from the Herbex team: Management, Crop Technicians, Salespeople and Farm workers, during the entire campaign. Herbex intends to follow the path towards meeting the proposed environmental objectives and maintaining ones already achieved.

Fresh cut Herbs: Basil, Bay Leaf, Chervil, Chives, Coriander, Dill, Gaochoy, Lemon Balm, Lemon Thyme, Lemon Grass, Lovage, Marjoram, Mint, Oregano, Parsley (Flat and Curly), Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, Savory, Spearmint, Tarragon, Thyme.
Nearly all the herbs are also available with ecological certification.

Vegetables: Peppers (Bird Eye, Habanero, Serenade, Jalapeño, Padron) Pak Choy.
