Product description

Biohof Anzböck GmbH is specialized in the cultivation and packaging of organic potatoes, organic onions and organic sweet potatoes for the food retail trade. Christian Anzböck, managing director of the Austrian family business, wanted to renew his packaging business. Through contact with other customers for whom we have already implemented plants, he became aware of us and was able to gain a first impression of our product portfolio.

In spring 2018 we received an inquiry for the construction of a packaging plant. After several on-site discussions with our sales representatives Heinfried Fiss and Janis Heieis it was clear that Mr. Anzböck expected a special plant from us. A plant that would meet his high demands on state-of-the-art technology as well as on his product quality.

We built a packaging line with a total of three packing lines. The special feature of the individual lines is that they can be loaded with the product and operated independently of each other. The first line is designed in such a way that an onion mix with three different colours of onions can be packed in a net tube. Here we supplied and installed a NEWTEC weighing machine of type h2014 D including additional equipment for packing three different types of onions. In addition, we took preparatory measures for the integration of a second sealing machine without major structural changes having to be made. We also integrated an existing weighing machine and a net clipper into the second line. The third packaging line is equipped with a 14-channel NEWTEC weighing machine type 4014XB1 and an automatic clipping machine to close and separate machine-usable nets fully automatically type VAC929 from C-Pack. It is also equipped with a high-speed crossbelt system, which enables the customer to achieve a higher throughput of the product. As with the first line, it is also possible to integrate a second sealing machine without further modifications. The infeed of all three lines is controlled by hydraulic bin tippers.

In order to guarantee a high quality product selection, all three lines offer the possibility of manually sorting out defective products on the installed roller sorting tables. These are then conveyed via a conveyor belt below the machine platform into wooden boxes provided for this purpose.
